It usually takes more than 30 seconds to brew an espresso, but the Piamo will allow anyone to make a good espresso in about 30 seconds. The device consists of a cup, water chamber, filter inlay and filter cap.
Piamo was created by Christoph and Hendrik Meyl, founders of Gemodo Coffee. Once the water chamber is filled up, ground coffee is placed inside the filter. Users can also place an espresso pad. The contraption is attached to a cup and placed in a microwave for 30 seconds. The pressure of the steam forces the water through the coffee to create an espresso shot.
Piamo creates a fresh cup of delicious espresso within 30 seconds. Whether you prefer pads or ground coffee, Piamo can do both. And in no time you will enjoy your personal espresso.
Piamo was launched as part of a Startnext crowdfunding project. Users will have to pledge €40 (~$53) to get their own.
