Herm, sounds more like a siren more than an alarm. Quite useful when in harm i guess. Works well when in danger. Good for females.

I love these personal alarms. Especially the ones that connect on your keychain. That loud piercing sound will drive anyone away. I bought my wife one and she loves it. Addition to the pin coming out to sound off these personal alarms, the one I got my wife also has a small light on it so she can see when it’s dark. It quickly helps find her specific keys – you know, to the house; her car. It also has a button that you can push to sound off this annoying, piercing sound. She loves to take it with her on long walks to scare away any stray dogs that might meet her path.
