Watch the Call of Duty: WWII – Days of Summer Event Trailer to see what is available in this event that is back through August 28, 2018. Highlights include a sandbox map, new weapons, special gear, new game modes, and a community challange.
This sandbox map is a literal sandbox, and it is action-packed fun. You play as a plastic toy soldier (i.e. green army men) and can enjoy a mix of game modes.
The new weapons include the Automaton Assault Rifle (deadly at mid to long range engagements), Ribeyrolles SMG (ideal for mid range battles), and the 3-Line Sniper Rifle (bolt-action sniper rifle with a fair one shot kill zone.)
Special gear you can unlock includes Days of Summer Uniforms for all divisions, US Semi Military Infantry Division, English Summer Cavalry Division, and New Zealand Semi Military Mountain Division.

The Days of Summer event is back for Call of Duty: WWII, featuring new weapons, uniforms, and R&R-inspired gear, as well as the brand new Sandbox map, available first on PlayStation 4.
Summer is in full swing, and with the enemy running for cover, you’ve earned some R&R. Captain Butcher is back and he’s stocked new casual uniforms and three new weapons to help you beat the summer heat. Plus, try the new Sandbox map, where you can experience battle as a toy soldier – the Sandbox map will launch on PlayStation®4 30 days prior to launch on other platforms. The action is available until August 28 when the Days of Summer Community Event ends.
