Build Your Own RC Tank

Build Your Own RC Tank

Building something out of LEGO bricks is fun, but it is even better when you can really play with what you constructed. That’s the idea behind this Build Your Own RC Tank. It features 1,498 plastic blocks that are very similar to LEGO that you snap together to form either an American Abrams M1A2 tank or German Cheetah tank. Best of all, you can control this tank via a wireless 2.4 GHz remote control that works up to 100 feet away.

What makes this RC tank especially fun to play with is that the remote control doesn’t just control the tanks movement—it also allows you to rotate the turret, raise or lower the canon, and fire a projectile!

Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the remote controlled tank that children construct from 1,498 interlocking plastic pieces. The kit’s pieces snap into place to form an Abrams M1A2 tank or German Cheetah tank. The included 2.4 GHz remote control sends the tank forward or backward, left or right, and lets one rotate the turret, raise or lower the canon, and fire a projectile from up to 100′ away. Includes instruction booklets and a removable battery pack. Remote requires two AA batteries, tank requires six AA batteries. Ages 8 and up. 18″ L x 8″ W x 9″ H. (8 lbs.)

This Build Your Own RC Tank is available exclusively at Hammacher Schlemmer, where it is priced at $99.95. They are currently taking orders with shipments expected on November 14, 2018.
