Kitchen Pie Timer

Kitchen Pie Timer

I’ve always been more interested in baking rather than cooking. Just last week, I baked a pie that turned out to be a bit overcooked (okay, so it was more than just overcooked, it was actually burnt) because I had used my mobile phone as the timer and I just kind of lost track of time since I was watching a DVD of my favorite show.. But anyway, burnt pies are no more, not if you’ve got the Kitchen Pie Timer.

The Kitchen Pie Timer is bold and looks extremely simple yet fancy at the same time. And it’s also got a pie for a face. It’s sort of like a giant, round countdown of the time left (or time you need) in order to bake your pie to absolute perfection. A fun alternative is the Campbell’s Soup Kitchen Timer, which isn’t just good for pies or baking, but for absolutely anything else that needs to be timed.

This 60-minute timer makes keeping an eye on baked goods a piece of…pie! Its bold, pie-slice graphics make it stand out from other digital or analog timers so you can spot exactly when you need to dash to the oven all the way from your living room. Its easy-to-use interface and old-fashioned ringer make it a great tool to keep handy when your underdone dish needs just an incremental extension.

The Kitchen Pie Timer is available from Uncommon Goods for $14.
