3-D Skull Cake Pan

3D Skull Cake Pan

We can’t really explain the profound fascination that we have with skulls and zombies. All we know that when it turns to fall, we start getting giddy about creepy characters, horror films and Halloween. This year, you can bake a very detailed three-dimensional skull cake using the 3-D Skull Cake Pan.

Just as no face is the same as another, each skull cake you bake in the pan will be one of a kind. You can decorate your skull with powdered sugar, buttercream frosting or fondant to create uglies from the walking dead or goofy monsters straight from your imagination.

Wilton 3-D Skull Pan

This three-dimensional pan makes a big statement at Halloween parties! Heavyweight cast aluminum conducts heat extremely evenly. Premium non-stick surface for easy release and cleanup. Finished cake 6.5 x 5.5 x 7.5 in. 10-cup total capacity.

  • Beautiful cakes even before decoration
  • Even heat distribution
  • Easy release and cleanup
  • Limited lifetime warranty
  • Baking instructions and recipe included

When I make Halloween treats, I always make more of things that are white like ghosts, skulls and mummies because they are so easy to decorate and don’t require food coloring.

Though the pan looks like it’s small, it holds 10 cups of cake batter which means there will be a lot of cake to go around. Part of the excitement of 3-D cakes is the dramatic event of cutting the cake. Why not add a little surprise in the middle such as throwing in some gummy earthworms or sushi body parts gummies. Another idea is that you could give your skull a Gene Simmons look by adding a gummi tongue.

Dark, non-stick pans such as this one bake efficiently in the oven and simplify the cake dismount process. Plus, they take no time to clean and use again.

You can find this 3-D Skull Cake Pan at NeatoShop for $37.95 and at Amazon.com for $28.88.
