Star Wars Aprons

Star Wars Apron

Chances are you have a dad who is just as big a Star Wars fan as you are. Maybe your dad even took you to see a Star Wars film on the big screen for the first time. Since Father’s Day is coming up soon, give your old man something you know he’ll love: the Star Wars Apron.

Williams-Sonoma Star Wars Apron

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, the Jedi Kitchen Council determined that Padawan cooks need custom protective gear for their culinary adventures. The result is this official Star Wars apron made of durable black cotton twill and embroidered with famous characters (who promise to lay down their lightsabers and get along in the kitchen). The double front pocket is large enough for carrying cook’s tools, and an adjustable D-ring on the neck strap ensures a comfortable fit. To identify the Jedi chef, specify up to 9 embroidered initials.

Dads can be Jedi masters in the kitchen as well as when it comes to operating a BBQ grill. Of course things get messy when dealing with food, so a good apron will save him from having to change clothes after cooking up a feast. It’s also the type of thing he wouldn’t think of buying for himself.

At first glance, it looks as if the characters on the bottom of the apron are printed on. But actually they are embroidered, which makes the apron a little more special. If this apron is so cool that you have to get one for yourself, you have the option of personalizing the apron with up to 9 letters. If your name is Luke, then your dad’s apron definitely must have “Father” embroidered on it.

The Star Wars Apron is available exclusively from Williams Sonoma and costs $29.95. A Kid’s Star Wars Apron is also available at a cost of $24.95. (The kids version is also available at Amazon.com for $17.99.) Either can be personalized with a name or monogram for an extra $7.

You’d be pleased to know that there are also some Star Wars cookbooks to be had: Wookiee Cookies: The Star Wars Cookbook and The Star Wars Cookbook II: Darth Malt and More Galactic Recipes.
