Wine is for both cooking and drinking, so it’s good that this handy Sauced Measuring Wine Glass will give you measurements for both. You don’t want to overdo it either way.

It’s tough to tell how much wine it takes to get you sauced, but this wine glass will let you know since it is clearly marked. This 12 oz. wine glass has one side “For the Pan” and measures in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 cup. The other side is “For the Chef” and measures in 3, 6, 9, and 12 sips. Each sip is 2 oz.

  1. How does a 12oz wine glass measure 9 or 12 sips if each sip is 2ozs?

    Either my maths is out, or I’ve drunk too much (because my glass only measures empty or full…)

  2. Not only did I immediately notice the math problem, but I also noticed the use of my nickname, Fred. I had the idea of the measuring wine glass several years ago when I began drinking 5 to 6 oz of red wine each evening. I’m now wondering if someone I mentioned my idea to acted on it and kindly added my name to the creation. At any rate, I can’t wait to order a couple of these wine glasses for myself!
