20th Century Fox just released the X-Men: Dark Phoenix Teaser Trailer. This latest installment of the X-Men franchise is due in theaters on February 14, 2019.
Directed by Simon Kinberg, a producer on Logan, The Martian, Fantastic Four, and X-Men: Days of Future Past, Dark Phoenix stars Sophie Turner as Jean Grey / Phoenix. Other stars include James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven / Mystique, Evan Peters as Peter Maximoff / Quicksilver, Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto, Jessica Chastain as Smith, Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers / Cyclops, Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy / Beast, Alexandra Shipp as Ororo Munroe / Storm, and Kodi Smit-McPhee as Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler.
Although called X-Men: Dark Phoenix internationally, in the US it is branded as simply Dark Phoenix. It was originally planned to be released in November 2018, but due to delays in getting the cast together for reshoots, the new release date is February 14, 2019.

In DARK PHOENIX, the X-MEN face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey. During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. Wrestling with this entity inside her, Jean unleashes her powers in ways she can neither comprehend nor contain.
