R2-D2 Whizzwatch – Control Artoo with IR Watch

The R2-D2 Whizzwatch time killer/time teller combo allows you to control a mini action figure of the popular Star Wars droid using a special wristwatch IR transmitter.
The geek-tastic R2-D2 Whizzwatch is a timepiece with a difference because R2-D2 is attached to its strap. Simply unclip the legendary astromech droid, pop him on your desk and use the buttons on the watch to move him around.

Although not quite as informative as everyone’s favourite overweight glob of grease, the watch itself has buttons to help you scroll through a variety of digital readouts, and you can switch between 12/24 hour displays.
The R2-D2 Whizzwatch is available from Firebox for £19.95 (about $36 USD).

Nice find. Too bad you can’t remotely control the R2-D2 projector with one of these.

True Paul, or maybe get an alert when you’re running out of milk in the R2-D2 fridge. :)
