Cool Beans Ice Tray

Cool Beans Ice Cube Tray

I might overuse the word “cool” more than a person my age should, due to immaturity and lack of cooler words. And I refuse to ever use the words “cool beans” in conversation, but I guess I’ll make an exception just this once to talk about the Cool Beans Ice Tray.

Cool Beans Ice Tray:

  • 8 giant coffee bean-shaped cubes per ice tray
  • Perfect for iced coffee!
  • Food-grade silicone
  • Size: 8-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ x 1″ (21 cm x 11 cm x 2 cm)
  • Handwash only

The company Fred and Friends has become an expert at coming up with cheeky products that make people smile. Other clever ice cube trays they’ve made are the Brain Freeze Ice Tray, the Stone Cold Moai Statue Ice Tray, and the fang-making Cold Blooded Ice Tray (perfect for a ‘Twilight’ party). The Cool Beans Ice Tray inspires a perky twist to coffee drinks. When you fill the tray with espresso or even that leftover coffee in the pot that you’d otherwise dump out, you get ice cubes that will help power-up and chill a weak cup of coffee. Also, instead of just having your regular double-shot espresso in your iced latte, you can bump it up to a triple by adding one ice cube.

An espresso martini always looks so chic with a couple beans sprinkled on top, but an espresso-filled Cool Beans cube would spice up your White Russian or perhaps some Baileys on the rocks. The size of the ice bean is quite huge, so one bean per glass would suffice.

Unlike Fred’s other ice trays and kitchen gadgets, the Cool Beans tray is not meant for the dishwasher. But really, it shouldn’t be all that hard to wash it by hand.

Neatoshop sells the Cool Beans Ice Tray for $8.45 – a unique gift for coffee lovers.
