What do you get when you combine Instagrams with Polaroids? The Instaprint, that’s what. It’s a portable photo booth that will automatically print out Instagrams from a specific location or sent out with a specific hashtag on inkless paper. The Instaprints can be easily set up with the use of a mobile device that connects to it via WiFi.
Several prototypes of the Instaprint have already been used at parties and events, and the feedback that its maker has received has been nothing short of awesome.
Instaprint still has a long way to go from being a prototype to a consumer product, though. To make that leap, its developers are looking to raise funds of $500,000 using the crowd-funding site, Kickstarter.
A minimum pledge of $399 for the project will get you your very own Instaprint, plus one controller, one coiled power cable, one power supply, and 20 sheets of inkless paper.
