Netflix just released this 6 Underground Trailer and it looks like a big-budget movie that should be coming out in theaters rather than something produced by a streaming service. After all, it stars Ryan Reynolds and is directed by Michael Bay. It is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who are famous for Deadpool.
6 Underground will be coming to Netflix on December 13, 2019. Besides for Ryan Reynolds, the cast also includes Dave Franco, Ben Hardy, Mélanie Laurent, Adria Arjona, and Corey Hawkins. For me, Michael Bay often goes over the top on spectacle (see Transformers), but here, perhaps restrained by budget, it looks like he may have hit the sweet spot.
