Star Wars collectors wanting to own an X-wing starfighter miniature replica signed by filmmaker George Lucas can now enter their bid on eBay.

All proceeds from this auction will support the Columbian Ball and benefit the Annual Fund of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Ill.

The special charity action ends Oct. 15, 2007. Current bid: $2,600. [eBay]

  1. So did you see the video of the rocket powered X-Wing? Some guys built it, slapped rockets on it, and launched in the desert. It was huge and identical down to the R2D2 inside.
