Sparkly Recycled CD Clocks

Sparkly CD Clock

What to do with old CD’s (what to do with CD’s in general for that matter)? The people over at Acorn Studios came up with the brilliant idea of turning them in the cool looking clocks.

The handmade Sparkly CD Clock ($16) can be hung from the wall or used as a desk clock using the free stand provided. It requires one AA battery and measures 12cm. (4.7 inches) in diameter.

Available in 10 different colors and styles like silver crackled & red matt finish.

Created by hand using three discs, each clock undergoes a heating and cooling process to create the unique irridescent cracked effect on the surface.

Orders placed July 25 - August 27 will receive a FREE Diskette Notebook.

Neat design on the CD clock. I’ll have to try to make one of these. I know the big W-Mart sells the clock kits for just a couple of dollars. You can crack the cd like that by putting it in the microwave for about 15 seconds.

Would be cool to have one hanging on the wall above my computer desk at home.

    Thanks for the post!

I agree, it would look great over the computer desk.
