The Slacker Portable plays all of your personalized Slacker Radio stations everywhere you go. Slacker Radio features more than 2 million songs, over 100 professionally programmed stations, 10,000 artist stations, and the ability to create individually personalized radio stations.

Slacker Radio combines CD-quality sound with a rich visual experience. The Slacker Portable displays high resolution album art, artist photos, detailed album reviews and artist biographies on its 4″ vivid color screen.

The Slacker Portable is available is three models with prices starting at $200.

  1. The device looks beautiful — fantastic screen! But WTF!! Why would I spend $200-300 for essentially — a RADIO??

    For the same amount I can put my substantial music collection on an MP3 player and listen to the built in radio when I want! Plus I can add pictures and video to watch and share.

    I’d love to see this form-factor *completed* with flash memory and OS to become an mp3 player.. then, and only then, would they get my $200-300!
