With all these swanky products you see on GeekAlerts, non-geeks are starting to turn into wannabes. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Here is a geeky choice of wallpaper, because you know wallpaper is all back in style again. The Stacked Paperback Wallpaper gives your walls a little book-nerd fashion, even if you’ve never picked up a paperback in your life.

  • Out of bookcase space? Fear not – Tracey Kendall’s bookish paper fills nooks of your home with towers of titles. Adhesive required
  • Hand-screenprinted paper
  • Roll: 12’L, 18″W
  • Repeat: 26″L
  • Covers 18 square feet
  • Handmade in UK

The images of the books look so realistic that some of your house guests might reach out and try to grab a book. Then you’ll have to explain yourself for being a poser, or stay in character and pretend to have a spaz in fear of a bookolanche.

Among the books are some French titles to make you look really cerebral, such as an ancient copy of “La Chimie Physique.” You must’ve been a major geek to have taken P. Chem. in French. Or maybe you are of French descent, and that’s why you needed the “Pocket Dictionary of American Slang.”

Geek comments aside, a stack of books is visually appealing and can add lots of character to a sterile-looking wall. Another plus about this wallpaper is that there’s no need to dust these “books.”

A full roll covers 18 square feet, which should be plenty. After all, it is just for accent.

A roll of Stacked Paperback Wallpaper is $198 at Anthropologie.

For those who seriously have quite the stash of books and could use some fun bookends to hold ’em up, we’ve got the Star Wars Trash Compactor Bookends, Superman/Batman Bookends and Portal Bookends for your viewing enjoyment.
