Watches are accessories that we don’t buy for ourselves every day. So when the time comes to buy a new one, get something original and for lack of a better word, timeless. The Seahope Artist Collection LED Watch Series brought to us by Yasushi Kimura features exciting watches that you won’t find just anywhere. They are made in limited quantities, which mean fewer chances of others owning the same watch.

The six different watches, each designed by a different artist, have wide, genuine leather straps that ooze with style and grace. And the watch face isn’t your average digital screen with numbers. It looks to be the sum of three parts, where the LED dots indicate what time it is. The circle on the left must indicate the hour, while the two strips on the right must have something to do with minutes and seconds. Just a guess. Good thing the instructions come in English as well as Japanese.
This contemporary line of watches can be compared to the Kidrobot Swatch line showcased in September last year. Both collections look like they’re made for geeky urbanites that gravitate towards minimalistic design, but not exactly to the point of boredom. Notice how each line features contrasting colors and winks to the style of Japanimation?
