Orbit Planet Clock

Telling time can become an out-of-this-world experience with the Orbit Planet Clock, as three planets and the sun help keep track of the passing minutes and hours.

Designed to look like a miniature solar system (minus a few planets), this unique clock uses magnets to pull three colored anodized aluminum balls around the face of the clock to reveal minutes, seconds, and hours, with the golden sun resting in the center. The face of the clock itself is rubber-coated to make sure the tiny planets don’t scratch the surface during their trek through orbit. The clock can either sit on a desk or table or it can be mounted on a wall.

Orbit Space Clock

The Orbit Planet Clock is available for £19.95/$32.58 at Red5.

I love the clock but am a little confused about how it works. Aluminum (even anodized) isn’t magnetic, yet magnets pull the aluminum balls around?
