When is a LEGO not a LEGO? When we’re talking about the Game of Thrones-Style Dragon Sword Fighter Force, of course… which has absolutely nothing to do with Game of Thrones (wink-wink, nudge-nudge).
Let’s face facts. Although a favorite form of entertainment for many adults, LEGO still caters to kids, and that means something as violent as Game of Thrones will probably never have an official LEGO product, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still have tons of adventures with non-official toys in the land of Westeros… or wherever.
The Dragon Sword Fighter Force is made up of twelve somewhat familiar characters that were designed using actual LEGO products. The detailed artwork is even created with a process known as pad printing, which is the same way LEGO does it.
The characters are available in three-figure blister packs for $55 each but if you purchase this set that contains all twelve figures, you’ll get a bonus figure known as Sir TypesALot… who looks nothing like George R.R. Martin.
The Game of Thrones-Style Dragon Sword Fighter Force (which contains all the figures) is available for $220 at Citizen Brick.
