If you’re more foe than friend to Iron Man, the Iron Man Iron Monger Helmet offers a chance for comic fans that have something against the red and gold to collect a bit of armored villainy from the world of Tony Stark.
In the comics, the Iron Monger armor was created by Obadiah Stane, who wanted a battle suit capable of taking on his armored business rival. A version of the suit even made an appearance in the Iron Man movie, with Jeff Bridges in the role of Stane.
The replica, made of hand-forged steel, includes plastic, tinted eye lenses and full internal padding, although it’s recommended that the helmet not be worn. Far be it from me to ignore manufacturer suggestions because it would be sad for a collectible like this to get dinged up, but surely it’s okay to slip it on for just a little while. Right? Not saying you should, but I’d have to catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror just once.
