Avocado Salt & Pepper Shakers

One thing that you can use to decorate your dining table are quirky salt and pepper shakers. For one, I actually prefer shakers that are a bit quirky, as opposed to having a centerpiece that’s purely for decorating purposes. If you’re a lover of fruit and avocados specifically, then you might want to get a set of these Avocado Salt & Pepper Shakers.

You don’t exactly get a whole avocado, just one side of the slice, but you do get the whole seed. Take them apart, shake some salt or pepper on to your food, and put it back together again. It looks so good and realistic that it’s probably only the shaker’s holes that give it away.

Avocado Salt & Pepper Shakers

Always in seasoning, this glossy avocado shakes up dinner with original design. Cast from real avocados by artist Daina Platais, each earthenware set mimics the ridges and curves of the real thing. Grab its pit to pepper your plate or help yourself to a serving of salt by shaking the avocado. Coated with food-safe glaze. Each is one of a kind and will vary slightly. Handmade in Brooklyn.

The Avocado Salt & Pepper Shakers are available from Uncommon Goods for $48.  Take a look at these other quirky Salt & Pepper Shakers: D Batteries, Grenades, Star Trek and Alien.
