Items in the set are just like those we’d find in a real warehouse. You’ve got five pallets, four barrels, two crates with hinges, one cargo box, another one wrapped up in white plastic, a three-layered shelf, the superstar forklift and the remote to bring it all to life. That’s not to say that you can’t experiment with other small objects at hand. You can always add new items to the inventory, like a box of staples, small Post-Its, etc.
The handheld remote has a steering wheel for maneuvering the vehicle left and right. A trigger on the right lets you move the forklift forward and backward. The most exciting thing about the forklift is manning the rocker switch on the left, which moves the fork up and down (up to 13.5 inches). Several different movements at once gives you just the right challenge, requiring lots of concentration and patience.
Like most remote control toys, batteries are essential. For the forklift, you’ll need 3 AA batteries and the standard 9V for the remote.
