The digital Bedol clock allows you to keep track of time in an eco-friendly way, without having to use any batteries whatsoever. The timepiece is powered by water and salt.
Powered by a splash of water and a dash of salt, it keeps perfect time with no batteries. Sounds like magic, it’s just simple science. Electrodes harvest energy from the water. A clock that improves environment, both inside and out.
Measures approximately 4 inches high by about 3 1/2 inches wide.
The Bedol Wall Wave Clock is available in four different colors: blue, charcoal, green and orange. The product is available from the Bedol website for $16.

Very interesting… I would buy one if I wasn’t so lazy. :p
That’s exactly why you should buy one, Pickupjojo. Up early in the morning, no more laziness.
Hmm…I wonder if it will be faithful, but surely a fantastic invention when it does.
I believe it is – like the product description says; “it’s just simple science”. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Karina!
That was amazing! I liked it very much. Good piece of interesting information.
Happy to hear you liked it, Hats. Thanks for stopping by!
We my need to accept that the key to our energy future may not come from the government or big energy companies, but rather from small research and development companies and individual inventors working on water cars, fuel cells and on board hydrogen fuel generators.
That’s very true Jimma, thanks for your comment.
Glad to read this post, it will be an alternate source of energy.
I have the worst time keeping ever so anything that can help me and be good to the environment is definitely a good thing.
WHAT A FARCE , THEY HAVE KNOCKED OF THE DESIGN FROM A COMPANY IN THE FAR EAST , AQUA POWER CLOCK.
THEY ALSO TRIED TO COPY THE PATENTED TECHNOLOGY BUT THAT DIDNT WORK ! THEY ONLY HAVE A SIMPLE TIME FUNCTION AND THE CLOCK RUNS OUT OF POWER IN A FEW MONTHS , BECOMING WASTE AND THUS NOT VERY ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AS AT ALL !
THE ORIGINAL AQUA POWER CLOCK HAS TIME , DATE AND SOUND ALARM FUNCTIONS BUT EVEN MORE IMPORTANT , IT RUNS FOR 2 YEARS ON A SINGLE BATTERY AND THE ECO FRIENDLY BATTERY CAN BE REPLACED , THUS THE CLOCK CAN RUN FOREVER ON WATER ! , SHAME THAT BEDOL MARKETS WITH A LIE AND KNOCKS OFF DESIGNS.
Well what you mentioned is definitely true and incredible but i think more information should be added and researched for a further clarification. All in all I give your site a thumbs up.
Great article and informativ. I have this bookmarked. Thanks
That is definetly something that my hippy brother would by. I think it’s pretty cool too!
Absolutely fantastic mind blowing thing
Hmm…I wonder if it will be faithful, but surely a fantastic invention when it does.

we’re getting closer to replace fuel with water … hopefully not so far from the future we can actually really replace fuel with water …
Normally I don’t comment on sites but your article was good.
The eco clock is awesome!
Now thats a piece !! Looks realy cool. Eco-friendly is the next big thing !
Great Site! Thanks for the Information. Just what I was looking for. Will definately bookmark.
As a Newbie, I am always searching online for articles that can help me. Thank you
I always find great posts every time I visit this blog, thank you so much 😉
this clock look really cute
its a fake , it does NOT have an alarm function and runs out after a few weeks , I have tried it.
After that total waste and not possible to replace batteries , I take the real thing aquapowerclock , has water powered batteries that can be replaced and runs for 2 years on 1 small battery not to mention that it has alarm , time and calandar function for 1/5th of the price.
This a very interesting blogg. Like most other bloggs comments can get stale but not this one.
Thanks for the information Joe, I was considering buying one but now I will think twice!
It’s a farce. The water is simply an electrolyte for a conventional zinc battery. Water doesn’t “power” the clock, the zinc does. No “breakthrough technology”, no conspiracy by Big Oil, just something that’s been around for 100 years with an “eco-friendly” label.
If you want an “eco-friendly” clock, try a windup one, or a “self-winding” wristwatch, or even solar-powered.
I think that any company that takes their online presence seriously should look into having a blog. It is a way to engage with your customers on a more personal level.
This is NOT eco friendly at all. Don’t you see it. It is just a regular clock running on batteries (!). You have to add water so the circuit closes, that’s all. It does not run on water. What a farce…
I bought a salt water clock, worked for about a year. When the water dried out I tried using table salt – now it doesn’t work anymore 🙁
Keeps time for about a day and then fades away..
You you should make changes to the webpage subject title Eco-Friendly Water-Powered Clock | GeekAlerts to more catching for your blog post you make. I enjoyed the the writing still.
Every weekend i used to pay a quick visit this website,

Never give a sucker an even break…. It’s a fake. It has a battery internally. It uses the conductivity of the water to turn on the clock.
