R/C Hovering Space Surfer

Here’s something you don’t see every day, a radio-controlled 9-inch “space surfer” that hovers in the air, spins 360 degrees, and moves left, right, backward and forward.

Looking pretty much like this levitating globe from Deal Extreme, but with one bonus feature; this scale model of Earth also comes with a 4-LED lamp.

Here we have yet another example of those levitating products that we have seen in the shape of a baseball, a globe, a lamp, etc.

The futuristic Lounger is a revolutionary magnetic ‘hover’ furniture, designed by UK designer Keith Dixon and inspired by the Star Wars Landspeeder.

We’ve covered quite a few levitating products at GeekAlerts, like globes, photo frames and a baseball, but this is the first ever post about levitating lamps.

We have already covered a couple of products like this – the Electromagnetic Earth Globe and the Illuminating Electromagnetic Earth Globe.
Unfortunately, there is not much information available about this levitating globe. We’ll just have to assume it uses electro magnets, as with the others.

Remember the Illuminating Levitating Earth Globe? From the same German company comes this electromagnetic photo frame.

Remember the Electromagnetic Earth Globe from yesterday? It turns out the same company has yet another cool desktop gadget in the same genre.
Electro magnets makes the Illuminating Electromagnetic Earth Globe ($61) float in midair inside the black/chrome arch. The classic colored earth globes measures 11 cm (4.3 in.) in diameter.

Here’s your chance to add a little David Blaine feel to your desktop (if you ever wanted to do that). The cool looking black and chrome Electromagnetic Earth Globe ($137) measures 11 cm (4.3 in.) in diameter and will float in midair using electro magnets. It’s also possible to give it a spin and watch the world go round and round for a long long time…
