R/C Robot Tortoise

R/C Robot Tortoise

Robot maker CrabFu is using spare servos from R/C aircraft to create his cool little robots. One of his most recent creations is this tortoise.

The plastic used for the legs is called Shapelock, a material which becomes moldable after you heat it up to at least 150 degrees.

Here’s a video demonstration of the radio-controlled tortoise:

R/C Tortoise is a very simple r/c tortoise “bot” with direct control, using a 4 channel radio system. It uses 4 sub micro servos, and each axis of the transmitter stick controls a servo.
