You know what is really funny? before moving to North America in the 1960s and 1970s, Toyota was in fact known as Toyoda, and they only became Toyota with a T when they came to North America. Even today, the parent company, Which manufactures heavy industrial machinery including robots and factory machines, are still known as Toyoda Heavy Industries Limited.
