Talking Tutor Telescope

Talking Tutor Telescope

When I was little, I was really interested in astronomy. Unfortunately, nobody else seemed to be so I was on my own when it came to figuring out what was what, but the Talking Tutor Telescope makes sure there’s always someone around that can share your passion for the stars.

A built-in database with over four hours of audio shares its knowledge with the help of an integrated speaker, sharing useful nuggets of knowledge like, “Jupiter is larger than 1,300 earths” or “Mars has volcanoes, deserts, and polar ice caps.” You can select which celestial body you learn about by using the handheld controller to select from 30,000 objects that occupy the depths of pace. The motorized telescope automatically rotates and tilts to get a variety of constellations, planets, or nebulas in its sight, with location and current time being used to determine the best coordinates to use for viewing.

Talking Tutor Telescope Features:

  • 102mm refractive lens
  • 800mm focal length
  • LED viewfinder.
  • 9mm and 25mm eyepieces
  • Adjustable aluminum tripod
  • Requires eight AA batteries

Make sure you always have an instructor ready when you look to the stars with the Talking Tutor Telescope for $299.95 from Hammacher Schlemmer.
