Some people collect old comics, while others simply throw them away (the horror of it all), but one crafty artist created Comic Collage Art, using recycled comic books to bring popular characters to artistic life.
Comic books aren’t just for reading anymore because now you can display your favorite comic book character on your wall, with that character usually being created by using his or her own titles to craft a colorful collage.
The roster of heroes and villains include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Christopher Reeve as Superman, and Thanos fighting the Avengers.
The Comic Collage Art is available in a variety of sizes with prices ranging from $20 to $12,000 at Mike Alcantara’s Etsy store, and there are plenty of other heroes to choose from, including popular UK Time Lord, Doctor Who.
