So you think you’re a sushi expert? Put your knowledge to the test and see if you can collect the most expensive sushi from the bowl with the Tokujo Sushi Jan Game.
Tokujo Sushi Jan Game

The instructions are written in Japanese, so you either have to take our word for it, locate your nearest Japanese-literate friend to translate, or make up your own rules. You start out with all the 50 colorful pieces of sushi in the central bowl, which is covered by a cloth. Players then take turns picking sushi without peeking and by coming up with matching sushi combos illustrated on the chef’s card, the player with the most lucrative combo wins. Players are paid with faux cash for their creations.
Practice naming the different types of sushi correctly. I spy some tamago, maguro, possibly ika and cucumber maki. This game is great to hone your kids’ sushi identification skills and business sense with cash flow.
I’m somewhat surprised that chopsticks don’t come with this game, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use your own. May we suggest the Star Wars Lightsaber Chopsticks Set, Drumstick Chopsticks or deadly Samurai Chopsticks?
