DC Artists’ Alley Batman by Hainanu Nooligan Saulque Statue

Baseball and Batman have a lot in common. Pitchers throw balls and the Dark Knight throws punches, which is probably where the inspiration for the DC Artists’ Alley Batman by Hainanu Nooligan Saulque Statue came from.

Need another similarity? After hitting the ball, the runner makes a mad dash for home, which is also where the bad guys try to run after encountering Batman in a dark alley.

As part of the DC Artists’ Alley collection, illustrator Hainanu Nooligan Saulque has giving us a unique look at the Dark Knight, appearing to blend him with a baseball player, complete with knee-high socks, tennis shoes, and a pitcher’s stance. Hey! Wouldn’t The Dark Knights be an awesome name for a baseball team? They could play the Jokerz.

The vinyl statue stands 6 3/4-inches tall and joins Saulque’s versions of the Joker and Harley Quinn.

Coming August 2018. Pre-order now for $35.99 at Entertainment Earth.
