Able to travel over solid ground and water at speeds up to 12 1/2 miles per hour, this hoverboard does its thing the old-fashioned way. Forget about magnets and things like that because this baby gets into the air with pure muscle – 36 high-power electric ducted fans with a maximum thrust of 200 kgf (430 lbs).
A built-in stabilization unit keeps things level or turn off the stabilization system and steer the ArcaBoard with your body, and don’t worry about taking any unexpected trips into orbit because onboard sensors keep the hoverboard from rising more than a foot in the air.
