Just three innocent barrels floating serenely on the ocean’s surface in the Three Barrels Poster. Nothing to worry about, right? Wrong! Anybody who has seen the classic thriller, Jaws, knows what those barrels represent, and it’s not a quiet evening sitting around a table telling old war stories while drinking with your buddies.
Actually, that is how the evening starts but ***SPOILERS*** it ends with a sinking boat, one cantankerous captain turned into shark chow, and a hydrophobic police chief trying to hit an oxygen bottle with a rifle as death rushes towards him.
But don’t worry about any of that just yet because this digital Xiekon print on 200gsm silk stock captures the calm before the storm, and it will get the attention of anyone that has seen the film. Before Sharknado, there was Jaws, and Jaws didn’t need any silly tornado to be terrifying.
The Three Barrels Poster is available for £13 / $21.93 at Last Exit to Nowhere.

You’ve nailed the tension that makes Jaws so iconic — those barrels are deceptively simple props that become symbols of dread. Spielberg used Geometry Dash them brilliantly: floating markers that told the audience the shark was near without showing it directly, which heightened suspense far more than constant monster shots ever could.
