The wood covers of this rugged and unique journal are layered and distressed in shades of black. It measures approximately 5 inches by 7 3/4 inches and is 1 3/4 inches thick. On the front cover I have sewn an antique skeleton key. This journal contains 144 hand torn pages (72 sheets) of medium weight acid free drawing paper perfect for writing or sketching or holding your memories. It would also make an interesting conversation piece displayed on a table or shelf.
The coptic binding, complete with headbands is sewn in sturdy sage green linen thread. The endpapers are iridescent green textured paper. The binding style will allow this journal to lay flat when open.
