Maybe you remember the Digital Video Rocket from last week. Here’s an even cooler way to be able to shoot some amazing aerial video footage.
The Radio Control Recon Camera Helicopter ($200) is equipped with real-time video technology, letting you get a live birds eye view displayed on the 2-inch LCD screen of the remote control.

I can’t imagine what the battery life is like! I’ve used a number of different (consumer-level) RC helicopters and one consistent thing among the lot of ‘em is *crap* battery life.
Add to that a colour camera AND the wireless transmission of video, and you’ve got a first class ticket to a low battery warning.
I still want one (two?) though!
