Samsung wants to be the light of your life forever and they recently released the energy-saving Samsung Advanced LED Light Bulbs for the U.S. to make sure they always have a bright spot in your heart.
The heat-sink-looking skirt might make you think the light bulb did something freaky with a computer processor chip, but Samsung’s new addition to the world of lighting might forever change how you shop for light bulbs.
The Advanced LED Light Bulbs come in three styles, with each having a unique purpose.
- The AR19 is dimmable and can shine directionally from vanity lights, wall sconces, and assorted lamps.
- The PAR, which is also dimmable, is designed for track and recessed lighting.
- The MR16, with adjustable brightness levels, is designed to be used in recessed, vanity, and track lighting, and has two different base types.
The new bulbs are designed to last from 27 to 36 years, and your wallet will appreciate that longevity because the price tag ranges from $19.98 to $59.98. Considering that you shouldn’t have to replace the bulbs for at least a couple of decades, the price really isn’t that bad.
