The God of Thunder takes on a new old look with the Marvel Milestones Armored Thor Statue.
New old look? Yeah, that’s fairly accurate. During a classic storyline by artist and writer Walt Simonson that features the mighty Thor being cursed to never heal when injured, Thor upgraded his costume to a full suit of armor, making him look even more intimidating than usual.
That classic look, which is so old that it’s basically new again, is captured with this 12-inch-tall statue that features the Thunder God hovering above the ground as he swings mighty Mjolnir.
The statue, limited to just 1000 pieces, was sculpted by Phil Ramirez and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The Marvel Milestones Armored Thor Statue will be available August 2017 but it can be pre-ordered now for $199.99 at Entertainment Earth.
