Cello Hidden Cocktail Bar

Cellist Hidden Cocktail Bar

Are you looking for a place to hide your alcohol from your teenage kids? Or maybe you are trying to impress your friends or parents when they visit… (Don’t worry, they already know the truth.) The Cello Cocktail Bar is perfect for both situations and it will add some sophistication to your parlor or study while impressing friends and coworkers.

Designed after a full-size 4/4 modern cello, this hidden cocktail bar features three shelves with enough room for all the good stuff. The cello cocktail bar is constructed from tropical hevea brasiliensis, but it is not designed for playing. So unless you have a cellist in your family, no one is going to find your hidden stash.

Cello Hidden Cocktail Bar

This is the decorative cello that slides opens to reveal a symphony of spirits and stemware. Designed after a full-size 4/4 modern cello, it contains f-shaped sound holes, tuning pegs, and a classic top scroll—yet its absence of a bridge may make unschooled orchestra-goers question if it’s Baroque. The cabinet’s top, middle, and bottom shelves provide 8 1/2″, 14″ and 14 3/4″ of vertical storage, respectively, that accommodates stemware or barware and libation bottles of various sizes. Although not intended to be played, the faux instrument provides string-concert enthusiasts with access to a brandy or Bordeaux for harmonious quaffing to Bach’s cello suites or Beethoven’s Triple Concerto. Ideal for sophisticated entertaining in a parlor or study, it rests on an included wood stand, is constructed from tropical hevea brasiliensis, and is treated for protection against pests and moisture. Stemware not included. Assembly required. 72 3/4″ L x 26 3/4″ W x 8 1/2″ D.

You can purchase the Cellist Hidden Cocktail Bar at Hammacher Schlemmer….and yes, it is pricey.
