Today Speakal announced that their new Apple-certified speaker dock, the Speakal Cool iPig Motion-Control Portable Speaker Dock, is available to buy at Amazon.com. We posted about the Cool iPig before, which is a follow-on to the original iPig, but now we have better pictures and more information. The Cool iPig isn’t just a remarkably cute design, it actually has great technology like a built-in sub-woofer and motion controlled functions.
The Cool iPig is has a very cute piggy design complete with cutely perked ears and chrome accented sunglasses. It is also small and has an internal rechargeable battery, so it is easily portable. Despite its small size, it is no slouch with music since it has stereo speakers and a built-in 15W bass reflex subwoofer for bright sound and booming bass.
What makes the Speakal Cool iPig speaker dock especially innovative is the advanced motion detection technology. By simply waving your hand in front of sensors around the ears, nose and sides you have user-friendly control over volume, play/pause, and skipping music tracks.
