Why would anyone buy this for $300+ when the ICOM Icom IC-R3-27 is a full-on wide-band receiver that offers all these features and more (like AV out, lithium ion battery, VHF ham radio scanner, etc)? Find one on eBay or craigslist. They can be found for $400 and are well made, documented and there are myriad resources on the web to learn more.
