The latest Doctor joins forces with the first on the Doctor Who One Day Art Print.
In the 1964 Doctor Who episode, The Dalek Invasion of Earth, the Doctor (portrayed by William Hartnell) tells his granddaughter, Susan, that he’ll be back one day. This is after he locks her out of the TARDIS to force her to live her own life with the man she loves. Nobody does tough love quite like the Doctor.
While he’s not (yet) returning to Susan, the First Doctor is returning, with a little help from David Bradley, who did a great job as Hartnell in An Adventure in Space and Time. Bradley’s First Doctor will be joining forces with Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor in a team-up that nobody saw coming.
