The LEGO Ninjago series has a big following and that’s because of LEGO’s clever marketing and exposure. There are several model sets and spinner sets that can be purchased just about anywhere, as well as a Nintendo DS game and an exciting animated series. Ninjago characters fight while on their rotating top-like spinners (sort of like Beyblades) and knock each other off the spinners using various weaponry and a little bit of Murphy’s Law. Lloyd, the green ninja, is Lord Garmaddon’s son. Of course, there’s a good guy and bad guy theme, and Lord Garmaddon is a head honcho bad guy. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the path to evil is Lloyd’s ultimate destiny. The fairy tale could end similar to that of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
