TV-B-Gone: Turn Off (Almost) Any TV

TV-B-Gone

This almost sounds to good, or scary perhaps, to be true. I Want One Of Those claims that this pocket sized universal remote is capable of turning on or off just about any TV, as long as you are within a 15 metre (49 feet) range.

The TV-B-Gone ($26) is small enough to fit on a keyring and works on most TVs by shining pulses of invisible light that instructs them to turn off or on.

Features:

  • A universal remote control that allows you to turn any TV on or off when you are within a 15m range.
  • The remote is pocket-sized making it delightfully portable.
  • Uses a high-power 940mm infrared beam to control televisions.
  • Suitable for ages 8 years+.
  • Requires 3 x Li Coin Cell Batteries (included).
  • Size: 6 x 5 x 1.5cm.
