At first I thought this was an engagement/wedding ring set (the bridge being the diamond would have been a nice touch), and was going to quote Picard, but it’s NCC-1701, no D, right?
Love the metaphor, and you’re right. With a few minor changes, this would be a great wedding ring set.
Let’s hope the creators can make the changes as an update. Maybe make that one the NCC-1701-D and call it, “Engage!”
