These Sony MDR-Z1000 headphones employ a newly-developed LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) diaphragm in their pro-quality, ultra-wide range HD (High Definition) driver units. This material is exceptionally light and rigid, which dramatically reduces resonance. The result is exceptionally clear and natural sounding mid to high frequencies.

Employing newly-developed noise isolation earpads that are are cushioned with low-repulsion urethane foam, these Sony MDRZ1000 headphones minimize sound leakage while providing a comfortable fit.
