When Tennessee state law recently changed to allow the distillation of spirits, we saw an opportunity to showcase the art of superior mountain-made moonshine. The Ole Smoky recipes are the product of the hard work and experience of local families who have made moonshine in the mountains for the last two hundred years. Ole Smoky is the first federally licensed distillery in the history of East Tennessee.

  1. I tried this stuff for the first time at Muddy Roots Music Festival last year. I ended up getting a few jars of Cherry. I didn’t even know they had Apple Pie! That’ll be my next jar. This stuff is the best! I believe they sponsor Muddy Roots every year, so the moonshine makes for a festive experience.

  2. I found out about Buckeye Moonshine, after the buckeye candy, last Christmas. It taste really good on crushed ice with nothing else. Just sip it and feel the creamy, chocolate peanut buttery taste on your tongue. You usually have to ask them to order it.

  3. I have tried egg nog shine & now the white chocolate & strawberry cream. I am in heaven❣️ These are amazing! I will be trying more flavors❣️❣️

  4. I love the strawberry, egg nog and banana. The banana poured over fresh hot banana bread is to die for!!! Made a fresh, hot, banana bunt cake when we went camping. Poured the nana one over the hot bread and it was life changing lol.

The egg nog ones is great over ice or as the creamer in your coffee….. when appropriate, like Sunday mornings.
