It takes a lot to make me jealous, but I will admit this Nintendo NES Controller Coffee Table is AWESOME! Made from maple, mahogany and walnut with dovetail joinery and mid-century modern legs, this table not only looks identical to the classic NES controllers of yesteryear, it’s actually functional…That’s right, let it soak in for a minute…Yeap, you can hook it up to your NES system and enjoy playing all your favorites like Zelda and Mario Bros. When you’re not gaming, the protective glass covers the table and allows it to serve as a custom coffee table. Invite some friends over, show them the table and after they’ve drooled over it for an hour or so, show them how it works and relive all that NES 8-bit glory.
The dimensions are: 42″ length x 18.25″ width x 18″ height…Not that it matters, you’ll find a way to make room for this even if the sofa has to go.
4 versions of the table are available to better suit various preferences and budgets. The main differences are composite materials vs premium hardwoods and functional vs nonfunctional. The composite materials version are painted to look exactly like the original controller. An inverted color scheme version is currently being designed. USB capability also available. Wii capability is currently being researched for those without an NES lying around.
