This little device fits onto most taps and lights up a set of LEDs when you turn on the tap, transforming the stream of water into a beautiful waterfall of light.
Not only that, but a temperature sensor within the unit can tell whether the water is cold or hot, and changes the colour of the light accordingly. Forgetting the practical side of knowing when the water’s hot or cold without touching it.
Features:
- An LED for your tap.
- Turning your tap on and off activates and deactivates the LED.
- A temperature sensor is inbuilt, glowing blue when the water is cool and red when the water is too hot to touch.
- The LED creates casts a brilliant glow to your kitchen or bathroom in the dark.
- A universal adaptor so the Glow Flow fits neatly onto nearly all standard taps.
- Requires 3 x LR44 watch cell batteries (included).
- Suitable for ages 8 years+.
- Size: 3 x 3 x 2cm.
The Glow Flow Tap is available at IWOOT for £14.99 (about $30 USD). Also at Amazon.com.

Cool…I guess I should’ve. 🙂
Hope you’ll like it!
I just bought one after reading this, you shoulda had an affiliate link in your post!
Oh yes! This is a must.. I wonder if they have considered the benefits of using Ultr Violet light to kill bacteria as it passes through the stream.. surely!?
Bookmarked! This will make a fab gift for my geek 🙂
@ Glen: That’s not a bad idea. I was reading about the Disinfecting UV Scanner the other day, so I guess it wouldn’t be impossible.
@ SillyPenguin: Happy to hear that. 🙂
Thanks for your comments!
glen, thats a really good idea
it arrived and was promptly installed on the bath taps, it works a treat! really bright and it’s really cool to see a lightsaber fill the bath!
Happy to hear that Andy, thanks for sharing!
Thank’s to all for the great feedback! I’ve had a look around and most UV filter systems appear to be working on the body of the water, as in a filtration ‘holding’ tank, where water is processed. Seem’s to cut one of the steps out, so it… yeah not bad *pats self on head* – 🙂
Hey I found this interesting;
http://www.purennatural.com/fs.php?center=waterfiltration/ultravioletwatersterilizers.php
Ultraviolet energy is produced by low pressure mercury lamps. The lamps are made of special glass which allow the passage of light waves emanating at a specific wavelength (254 nanometers). This particular wavelength has the ability to kill all microorganisms it comes in contact with.
Cool, something like that in combination with the LED tap would be great.
how do u glow in the dark water?
