World’s Thinnest HD Camcorder: Poco Pro

The credit card-sized Poco Pro is not only described as the world’s thinnest full 1080P HD video camera, it’s also said to be the world’s smallest 14 megapixel digital camera.

Superlight and compact design is constructed using a robust and scratch resistant magnesium body including pinspot texture to aid grip (total product weight only 65 grams).

Here’s a video clip to give you a better idea of the Poco Pro design:

Vibrant and super energy efficient 2.4″ AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic LED) display shows millions of colors and includes solid state touch sensitive controls (with haptic force feedback for tactile response to touch), built directly into display bezel, enabling maximum screen brightness (most normal touch screen overlays take away up to 20% of brightness).

Quality music playback and recording is possible using built-in piezo speaker plus twin miniature microphones (with noise cancellation). Sound can be output to headphones or external speakers using built-in 3.5mm jack socket.

Here’s a full list of the technical specifications for the Poco Pro digital camera.

The Poco Pro camera is due to be released in June next year and it will cost from £200 (about $300 USD), but you can already reserve one for £100 ($150).
