Gunnar Eyestrain Blue Light Reducing Glasses for Computer Users

High-efficiency fluorescent lighting and computer monitors in our offices are highly shifted towards the blue-end of the spectrum. The problem is, blue light focuses differently on the retina than the rest of the spectrum. Ever look at a blue LED and noticed a halo around the light? Staring at it gives you a headache, doesn’t it? Guess why! Your eyes are straining to try and bring that fuzzy spot into focus, and it just can’t!

  1. I am an eye doctor and know a lot about eyes, optics and accommodation issues. These glasses are yellow filters with AR coating to slightly reduce glare. Thats all they are. $70 a pop? And to claim.it reduces dry eyes?? There are several reasons for dry eyes due to computer usage and you think these AR coated yellow lenses can address them? How can this relax your focusing system? What about people who have focusing issues and need a prescription to wear? Not everyone has good vision, good focusing system and this addresses.none of them …..unbelievable how marketing fools patients.
